    Overview:

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for assisting in the implementation and execution of the marketing plan for both new and existing products on our Deep Cleaning Consumables marketing team. The individual in this role will learn the fundamentals of marketing -- consumer understanding, category analysis, market research, creative asset development and product launch -- in addition to interaction with other critical departments required to grow the business -- sales, integrated marketing, product marketing and consumer design etc. It is the expectation that the individual will grow significantly in this position and be promoted up within the department.

    Responsibilities:

    POSITION PROFILE

    • Supporting Global Product launches
      • Develop go-to-market materials (packaging, user guides, point of purchase material, product videos, a+ content etc.), partnering with outside and inside team members/agencies
      • Structure new products in the system and update and maintain product and claims matrices
      • Manage sales samples and prototypes
    • Commercialize existing or derivative products:
      • Develop go-to-market materials (packaging, user guides, point of purchase material, product videos, a+ content etc.), partnering with outside and inside team members/agencies
      • Structure new products in the system and develop and maintain product and claims matrices
      • Support timelines
      • Work with internal creative agency to lead the development of category POP & A+ content.
    • Understand the consumer, perform data analysis and measurement
      • Write up analysis and conclusions from research
      • Analyze data to understand the deeper level of what is happening over time (trends) and causes (why)
    • Conduct strategic analysis monthly, define conclusions and make recommendations. Analyze by product, competitor, TV advertising, trade merchandising to learn what is driving or negatively affecting the business.
    • Conduct competitive analysis for new and current products as it relates to pricing, features and packaging.
    • Manage competitive matrix by retailer, which includes updating store product scope, current product claims and current product features.
    • Ensure sales and internal presentations have current, up to date information. Coordinate product/samples/cartons for sales calls and internal/customer presentations. Help support driving growth on .com channel.
    • Present to internal teams, agencies and smaller customers
    • Coordinate demos and samples for customer presentations and hero launch development. Manage maintenance issues such as Product Obsolescence forms, Product Request forms, Inserts, etc.
    • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

    Degree minimum: Bachelors degree

    Specific concentration: Marketing

    Experience level: 3-6 years
