    Must have at least 1 year of experience in hospital or healthcare
    Must have at least 3 years of professional work experience

    Please note that due to this facility being a government ran facility, screening and completing all hospital requirements can take upwards of 6-weeks.

    As a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) , you will provide personal care services and continuous observation of patients at our client's facility.

    In collaboration with the medical staff, you will help improve the quality of life for patients by supporting them through daily household tasks and social activities.

    Shaker Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Albany, NY

    Shift Details
    Full-Time Employees will work 5 eight hour shifts
    Monday - Friday and every other weekend
    Evening Shift - 3:00pm - 11:00pm

    Working with professionalism, integrity, and compassion, you will support your team and together represent Onsight Healthcare throughout the facility.

    Assist the Nursing staff with duties including administering patient vitals.
    Assist nursing staff in creating, maintaining, and providing a safe environment.
    Immediately report all changes in condition of the patient to appropriate supervisor and staff members.

    Follow required policies to avoid transmission of illness by correctly wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks and gloves.

    Alert nursing staff immediately to any signs of patient distress or equipment malfunction
    Adhere to confidentiality and patients' rights policy as outlined in the healthcare facility's HIPAA policies and procedures.
    Attend required healthcare facility training and orientation programs.
    At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare environment is required
    At least 1 year of experience in patient care within a hospital environment is preferred
    Ability to pass all onboarding screening processes, including all healthcare facility's pre-assignments and medical requirements
    With professionalism, integrity, and compassion, you support your team and together represent Onsight Healthcare throughout the facility
    Adequately operate apps/technology on a tablet and learn new software that may have to be applied to the daily tasks for this role
    Safely and physically able to effectively handle and maneuver equipment and/or patients throughout the site as needed
    Will effectively build relationships with hospital staff, patients, guests, and your team members
