- Oversee all fundraising activities to support Athletics.
- Manage Athletic Foundation Board of Directors.
- Work with special and standing committees of the Board.
- Create and maintain a master calendar of events for the Athletic Foundation.
- Other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics and Vice Chancellor for University Advancement.
- Follow all NCAA rules and regulations.
- Supervise Athletic Foundation Staff.
- Undergraduate degree and previous work experience in a collegiate fundraising setting.
- Master's degree.
- This position has a dual reporting structure, directly reporting to the Director of Athletics and indirect reporting to the Vice Chancellor for University Advancement.

Primary Purpose of Department:The position fundraises to support the mission of the Athletic Department at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. With a balanced program that supports equitable opportunities for all students and staff, the department promotes a total person concept that provides its student-athletes with the necessary tools to be successful in academic, athletic and social settings. The Department of Athletic supports the highest ethical standards of the University, the NCAA and the American Conference.
Primary Purpose of Position:Create and implement an annual giving and major gift fundraising strategy to support athletics. Solicit and encourage donors to support general Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities through Niner Exchange. Oversee funding opportunities for athletic facility improvements, including but not limited to, premium seating. Manage and carry out duties as established by the Director of Athletics, the Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, and the Athletic Foundation Board of Directors.
