    Position Title:
    JBS Sanitation Supervisor


    Position Overview:

    We are currently looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Sanitation Operations Supervisor.

    As a Sanitation Operations Supervisor, you will be in charge of supervising the day-to-day sanitation tasks at our facility, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining cleanliness, training employees, and prioritizing safety.

    The perfect candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proven dedication to upholding a safe and hygienic work environment.


    Responsibilities:

    Sanitation Operations Management:

    • Supervise and actively participate in daily sanitation tasks, including cleaning, sanitizing, waste management, and pest control to ensure compliance with procedures and schedules.
    • Regularly inspect sanitation conditions, identify areas for enhancement, and take immediate corrective actions.
    • Set a high standard for cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
    • Work with the Sanitation Operations Superintendent to create and revise sanitation protocols, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Manage the inventory of sanitation supplies, equipment, and chemicals, ensuring their availability, proper storage, and efficient usage.

    Employee Training and Development:

    • Train and guide sanitation staff on proper procedures, equipment operation, safety protocols, and personal hygiene practices.
    • Provide continuous coaching and support to employees, ensuring their comprehension and adherence to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines.
    • Cultivate a positive work environment, promote teamwork, open communication, and ongoing improvement.

    Safety and Compliance:

    • Promote a safety culture and ensure compliance with safety guidelines, policies, and procedures within the sanitation team.
    • Identify and address potential safety hazards or risks related to sanitation operations.
    • Work with the health and safety team to enforce safety programs, conduct training sessions, and investigate accidents or incidents.
    • Ensure adherence to sanitation regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

    Quality Control and Continuous Improvement:

    • Implement quality control measures to meet standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to resolve sanitation-related issues affecting product quality and safety.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement in sanitation operations and implement innovative solutions for efficiency and sustainability.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in sanitation management and suggest relevant enhancements or upgrades.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional relevant education or certifications are a plus.
    • Proven experience in hands-on sanitation operations, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing setting.
    • Sound knowledge of sanitation regulations and best practices.
    • Outstanding leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
    • Hands-on work ethic with a willingness to actively engage in sanitation activities as necessary.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of training, developing employees, and collaborating with various teams.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office applications.
    • Committed to safety and capable of promoting and ensuring a safety culture.
    • Physical endurance and ability to perform hands-on tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
