    We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Engineer to join our esteemed Water & Wastewater Heavy Civil Contracting company in California.

    You will play a pivotal role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale construction projects.

    You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project progress and identify potential issues.
    Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to procure materials and services as needed.
    Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
    Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    Collaborate with design teams to resolve engineering challenges and optimize project designs.
    Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and field personnel.
    Participate in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to discuss project requirements and progress.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

    Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.3+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, preferably with a focus on infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, dams, or tunnels.

    Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
    Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
    Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
