This is a PRN Technologist position located in the Pathology Department.


Minimum Qualifications:

Either of the following will qualify:
A baccalaureate degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science.

OR

A baccalaureate degree with sixteen semester hours in the biological sciences which includes three semester hours in microbiology, sixteen semester hours in chemistry which includes three semester hours in organic or biochemistry, three semester hours in mathematics; and one year of clinical training in a clinical laboratory.

NOTE:
Any college hours or degree must be from an accredited college or university.


NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

Possession of a current Clinical Laboratory ScientistGeneralist or Specialist license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners as required by law based upon the duties of the position.
