    The Warranty Administrator oversees all activities concerned with warranty processing and promptly submits manufacturer and after-market warranty claims and the resulting collection of all warranty revenues.

    Prior Experience processing Automotive Warranty Claims a huge plus

    Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage ranging from $19.50/hr to $25.50/hr, plus commissions based on individual performance.

    Responsibilities
    • Oversee all activities concerned with warranty processing
    • Submit claims of manufacturer warranty and aftermarket warranty
    • Service contract claim submission and follow up.
    • Maintain receivables schedules.
    • Work closely with a team of technicians, service writers, and supervisors
    • Learning, understanding all current manufacturer and aftermarket warranty policies and procedures.
    • Establishing and maintaining productive relationship with the manufacturers designated warranty representatives.
    • Reviewing every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility according to the applicable policies & procedures
    • Monitoring the use of special warranty programs for diagnosis time, straight time repairs, etc for abuse by service, sales and/or technical staff
    • Flagging the appropriate technicians for hours earned on the operation they perform.
    • Determining and entering the applicable labor operation codes, failure codes and/or other administrative data required
    • Maintaining a record of all claims submitted, returned/rejected or paid and their current status.
    Qualifications
    • Knowledge and understand of automotive warranty and policy procedures.
    • Detail-oriented with ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
    • Ability to work well with others and be part of a team.
    • Proficiency Microsoft Office, ten-key and able to read vendor catalogs.
    • General accounting knowledge preferred.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
    • Valid CA driver's license & good driving record.
