- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, with 2 years preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from an accredited course.
- Apheresis experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must possess a BSN and current RN license through TX BON.
- Conduct thorough assessments considering age-specific criteria.
- Anticipate and meet patient and family needs to develop appropriate care plans.
- Utilize critical thinking for nursing care prioritization.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient care coordination.
- Evaluate interventions and modify care plans accordingly.
- Adhere to hospital policies and national nursing standards.
- Provide timely education to patients and families.
- Advocate for patient safety and resource utilization.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives.
- Take ownership of patient care and safety initiatives.
- Support teamwork and quality improvement efforts.
