    We are currently looking for a Senior AccountantLocation:

    Secaucus, NJWork Model:
    Hybrid; 3 days in office 2 days remoteThis Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring general ledgers accuracy, performing reconciliations and general bookkeeping, supporting month end process, with particular focus on lease and real estate accounting

    Job Responsibilities:


    Assist with the preparation of financial statements at North America region level by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.

    Verifies the accuracy of financial dataAnalyzes information and options available by creating financial modelsResponsible for lease accounting according to Group Accounting principles (IFRS16)Responsible for the accounting and reporting of fixed assets and real estate businessResponsible for Corporate income tax, sales tax and any other indirect taxResponsible for Payroll accountingPrepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.

    Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing existing processes; recommending changes.
    Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
    Assist with account reconciliations.
    Assist with Accounts Payables functions (e.g. recording, analyzing invoices; paying invoices; maintaining vendor accounts).Assist with Accounts Receivables functions (e.g. recording invoice collections; monitoring customer receivable accounts).Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
    Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

    QualificationsBachelors Degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 3 years of experienceStrong expertise with accounting software and Microsoft software including Word, Access, and ExcelExperience using SAP is preferred.

    Solid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.
    Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to working with a diverse staffEssential FunctionsPlease see requirements above.


    Physical requirements:

    This position involves constant moving, walking, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, sitting; may occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing step stools.

    May involve lifting of least 20-25 lbs.
