Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position pays an hourly salary range of $26 to $30 per hour, depending on skills and experience levels.
• This position works the first shift, which is 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.

Internal Production:

• Document component level non-conforming Material.
• Assist in trend analysis.
• Evaluate PCBs via in circuit testing and report results.
• Complete accurate data entry in required databases and maintain documentation.

Returned Goods:

• Perform root cause analysis on product returned from customers using specialized electronic equipment.
• Perform final testing operation on repaired assemblies.
• Provide the Service function with root cause and Quality related data for trend analysis if required.
• Provide detailed analysis information to Quality Management for the generation of customer reports.
• Assist Quality function in Corrective and Preventive Action generation.
• Participate in Quality Initiative meetings and execute actions as necessary.

Incoming Material:

• Assist with Incoming inspection requirements with the use of a Vision System for dimensional measurements.
• Maintain inspection documentation.

Minimum Education:

• Associate degree or higher preferred

Minimum Experience:

• 2-3 Years of experience in a quality related function.
• Basic understanding of fiber optic manufacturing process.
• Ability to read drawings and perform dimensional measurements.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and Word. MS PowerPoint and MS Access desired.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Appropriate documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with lasers, power meters and microscope use.
• Must be flexible within the scope of all departmental responsibility.

Physical Demands:

• Dexterity skill and the ability to work with optical fibers.
