- This position pays an hourly salary range of $26 to $30 per hour, depending on skills and experience levels.
- This position works the first shift, which is 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.
- Document component level non-conforming Material.
- Assist in trend analysis.
- Evaluate PCBs via in circuit testing and report results.
- Complete accurate data entry in required databases and maintain documentation.
- Perform root cause analysis on product returned from customers using specialized electronic equipment.
- Perform final testing operation on repaired assemblies.
- Provide the Service function with root cause and Quality related data for trend analysis if required.
- Provide detailed analysis information to Quality Management for the generation of customer reports.
- Assist Quality function in Corrective and Preventive Action generation.
- Participate in Quality Initiative meetings and execute actions as necessary.
- Assist with Incoming inspection requirements with the use of a Vision System for dimensional measurements.
- Maintain inspection documentation.
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- 2-3 Years of experience in a quality related function.
- Basic understanding of fiber optic manufacturing process.
- Ability to read drawings and perform dimensional measurements.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and Word. MS PowerPoint and MS Access desired.
- Ability to schedule and prioritize work.
- Appropriate documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with lasers, power meters and microscope use.
- Must be flexible within the scope of all departmental responsibility.
- Dexterity skill and the ability to work with optical fibers.
- Attention to detail.
- Works well with others.
