Description

Marathon TS is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their team in the Washington DC area. If you can become a clearable US citizen, this 100% remote role might be perfect for you. Here's what we need:

- Provide technical and administrative guidance for complex systems based on requirements
- Make recommendations for system enhancements and improvements
- Assist in the IV & V plan execution
- Evaluate security enhancements and system upgrades
- Develop, review and monitor network resource policies
- Create network diagrams and documentation

Minimum Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with 10 years of experience
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance
General network knowledge including switches, routers, VOIP, Cloud connectivity, and IPv6
Familiarity with hardware, software, and monitoring tools
Experience with firewalls, VPN's, troubleshooting, and resolution
Knowledge of government telecom contract vehicles
Ability to analyze network performance data
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEHv11, CISSP
