    Previous small animal hospital experience required
    Schedule: 4 days per week 7:45a - 6:15p

    Pay Range: $17 - $24 / hour

    Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $17 - $24 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    • Perform venipuncture, IV-catheter, and injection administration
    • Set up, position, and take digital radiographs
    • Collect, set up, and interpret in-house laboratory and cytology tests
    • Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures
    • Performing dental prophylaxis
    • Educate clients on preventive care
    • Properly and safely restrain patients, reliably and with compassion to prepare for procedures performed by technicians and/or doctors.
    Qualifications:
    • 2 or more years of direct patient care experience required
    • Team player and willing to cross train in all areas of a general practice
    • Self-driven accountability for learning
    • Positive attitude
    • Conflict resolution skills
    • Self-starter
    • Weekend availability
