    Position Summary:
    As a growing company, we are always looking for new team members to help us continue in our success.

    Currently, we are seeking a Receiving Material Handler whose purpose is to support distribution operations by efficiently scanning, receiving, and staging inbound merchandise accurately and in a timely manner.

    This employee also sorts the merchandise by department, stacks, and palletizes items to ensure that product is ready to be transported to appropriate staging areas.

    Unloading merchandise by forklift, pallet jack or by hand. Stage inbound merchandise in scanning area

    Verify pallet count and signing for all inbound merchandise.

    Operate handheld scanning to identify, sort, and label received product.

    Restack and wrap product to prepare merchandise to be transported and stocked in appropriate locations.

    Communicates any overages, shortages, and or damagers to Supervisor.

    Deliver scanned merchandise to appropriate staging areas throughout the warehouse.

    Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards.

    Ability to take direction from Supervisor

    Adhering to DC housekeeping guidelines


    Perform others tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective, and cost conscious manner complying with all company policies, rules and regulations.

    Excellent attendance record

    Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed

    Good comprehension and math skills

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management

    Attention to detail essential and demonstrated problem solving skills

    Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain records accurately

    Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines

    Be a team player with a "can do" attitude

    Must be able to read, write, and speak English

    Power Equipment certification or other warehouse experience preferred

    High School diploma preferred

    Possess PC and printer aptitude

    Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
