- Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position. About the Department:
General Surgery is a 44-bed post-operative unit that provides care for patients during their recovery phase until discharged from the hospital. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to implementing plans of care, TPN, PCA, tube feeds, ostomy, biliary drains, urinary catheters, IV antibiotics, wound care, wound vacs, managing central lines, JP drains, NG tubes, and pain management with both pharmacological and non-pharmacological modalities.
