Description

Staff Accountant

$60,000-$65,000/yr.

Summary - Vaco is working with a Software Company who has an opening for a dynamic staff accountant. This person should have at least 1-2 years of experience with accounting. This role is open to recent college graduates who are looking to get their foot in the door. Client is offering hybrid work model and excellent pay + benefits.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate Cash accounting
Prepare bank reconciliations.
Prepare revenue reports
Prepare journal entries
Prepare amortization and depreciation schedules.
General ledger account reconciliations.
Month end close activities
Prepare miscellaneous tax forms and filings.
Assist with the preparation financial statements

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2 years of progressive experience in an accounting or financial audit role.
Public accounting and financial audit experience strongly preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or candidacy preferred.
Advanced working knowledge of excel.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to function effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced, team environment.
