    ASE is looking for a Network and Computer System Administrator, Journeyman to work in support of Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today

    Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
    • Installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices and network protocols to ensure they comply with security policy, procedures, and technical requirement.
    • Perform Systems Administration on Windows server based OS's.
    • Perform Systems Administration on RedHat (RHEL) server based OS's.
    • Recommend and schedule Information Assurance (IA) related repairs in the network environment.
    • Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
    • Run vulnerability and compliance assessments via ACAS and STIG's.
    • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
    • Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
    • May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Minimum three (3) years' of experience configuring or maintaining networks, performing system monitoring, updating/upgrading components, reviewing systems and application logs, performing backups, analyzing and troubleshooting network performance, conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, performing change management and ensuring system performance and availability.
    • A.S. or B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree.
    • COMPTIA Network+ or similar industry certification.
    • Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) fundamentals.
    • Expertise in IAT Level II network enterprise (NE) knowledge and skills.
    • Interim Secret Clearance.
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Possess one (1) of the following DoD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II in accordance with DoD M
    • CCNA Security.CySA+ **.GICSP.GSEC.Security+ CE.CND.SSCP.
