    Job DescriptionSalary: 70k-90k DOE

    Profound Treatment has multiple residential detox programs in Woodland Hills and Tarzana. We offer a full array of treatment options in a residential and outpatient setting.

    We are currently seeking a Therapist to join our Clinical Team. Must be registered as an associate (AMFT) or licensed (LMFT) with the California Board of Behavioral Science.

    The ideal candidate should be able to maintain a positive attitude while working with clients who struggle with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.

    A strong knowledge of, substance use dependence, family system, mental health, evidence-based modalities as well as holistic and whole-person care, and recovery resources in the community are expected for this role. In addition, knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries and related issues are necessary.

    Description

    Responsible for providing direct clinical services to participants and their families enrolled in the program, including individual, group and family therapy. In collaboration with treatment team staff, the Primary Therapist ensures quality care is provided to participants according to participant needs.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Receive, review and promptly respond to intake referrals within 48 hours upon assignment of the case.
    • Ability to manage a caseload of participants, based upon experience.
    • Conduct Bio/Psycho/Social assessments, diagnoses and formulate treatment plans.
    • Complete and assist participants in aftercare and discharge planning.
    • Provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, family and/or couples therapy to participants and their families.
    • Collaborate with professionals both within and outside the agency, as appropriate.
    • Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented participant records with a quality of documentation that meets DHCS and Joint Commission standards.
    • Share responsibility for on-call emergency consultation and crisis intervention, including after-hours telephone coverage.
    • Attend team meetings on a weekly basis to ensure quality care for participants.
    • Attend staff development and general staff meetings.
    • Abide by (Company Name) code of ethics and model values.
    • Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Required:

    • Independently Licensed Therapists: MSW from an accredited school of social work, or MA in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related degree AND current license (CA) to practice independently as an LCSW, LMFT or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
    • Associate Licensure Therapists: MSW from an accredited school of social work, or MA in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related degree AND registered with the Board of Behavioral Services or Board of Psychology to conduct therapy.
    • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel.
    • Ability to maintain accurate chart records and documentation.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, and multi-task.
    • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
    • Ability to develop good rapport with clients.
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as necessary.
    • Ability to provide health and TB clearance. Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

    Desired:

    • Experience in addiction and dual diagnoses.
    • Experience running process therapy groups.
    • Experience working with adults, couples and families who struggle with substance abuse.

    Work Environment:

    The work environment is a substance abuse treatment AND mental health milieu. The individual will be exposed to varying indoor and outdoor conditions as part of the facility set up and need of the participant.
