    Summary:
    The Program Specialist participates in the design anddevelopment of programs and\services based on Witcos mission and Values.

    Program Specialists managea comprehensive\set of employment services for adults with disabilities and ensureconsistent, high-quality services\in accordance with licensing and accreditation regulations.

    ProgramSpecialists establish andurture strong relationships with referral sources and communityemployers to assist persons\served in obtaining and maintaining employment.

    Essential Job Functions:
    \Coordinates the implementation of services ensuring the best outcomes tothe persons
    served; reviews program caseload to prioritizes workload.\Maintains communication with persons served, families, care providers,service coordinators,
    case managers, and other support personnel regarding services andsatisfaction.\Administers aptitude and occupational preference assessments to assistpersons served in
    identifying their skills, talents, capabilities, interests, and goals.\Reviews records and other documentation to make assessments related tothe persons
    ability, goals, choices, and limitations; plans and leads personcentered planning meetings;\ensures that plans are modified and changed as appropriate.

    Maintains all programs and services in compliance with legal,accreditation, licensing, and\regulatory entities; maintains knowledge and awareness of federal,state, and local\regulations and factors affecting the services of people withdisabilities.

    Assures that all services are recorded and billed accurately; directs,oversees, and evaluates\all services provided ensuring that goals are met and measured.

    Assists in staff development; provides guidance and support for teammembers; Actively\participates in mentoring and educating direct support staff to clientsvocational and\occupational and case management needs.

    Provides oversight of team audits on a regular basis; provides feedbackon completion of\performance reviews of staff within team.

    Completes the performance management cycle with staff, includingproviding coaching and\feedback for improved performance; builds positive team environment;ensures all staff have\and are implementing personal development plans; performs timekeeping/PTO management\for the team.

    Manages own personal development and encourages others to do the samewhich includes\promoting a healthy and positive work environment.
    Models behaviors that demonstrate commitment to Witcos mission andvalues\Maintains procedures and policies; ensures that appropriatedocumentation, implementation,
    and communication of established policy, procedures and operatingstandards is completed\for area of responsibility implements changes as updates occur.
    Markets programs and services to agencies, schools, and the generalpublic to generate a\client base.
    Generate referrals for services.\Attend and actively participate in meetings as required.\Attend conferences, training sessions, and workshops.

    \Assumes responsibility for other duties as required or assigned byProgram Manager\\Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
    \Ability to comprehend complex federal, state, and local regulations.

    Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability\Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills\Critical analytical skills, especially in situations where the issuesare not fully defined.

    \Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build coalitionsand work in cross-cultural
    settings.\Ability to lead, guide, and inspire others to perform effectively.\Strong marketing and communication skill (written and oral).

    \\\\\Education/Experience:

    \Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    \Previous program management experience\Experience in assessment and program plan development\Two or more years of administrative and supervisory experience in humanservices\\Physical Requirements:
