** Food & Beverage Manager**

Business Unit: The Peninsula New York Location: New York The Peninsula New York is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager that will ensure that the operations in the food & beverage outlets run smoothly and efficiently. In this role the Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for our guests to have an enjoyable dining experience and that maximum profitability is achieved.

**Key Accountabilities:**

Oversee Food & Beverage operations in all outlets assigned, ensuring that all staff provide personalized, friendly, and efficient service.

Play an active role in the department having heavy interaction with guests and providing guidance and support for staff.

Handle all guest feedback and resolve any concerns before guests depart the hotel and or restaurant.

Ensure that liquor is served responsibly, and that laws and regulations are followed.

Ensure that all areas in the outlets are well maintained, clean, neat, and up to par always.

Observe the appearance of dishes and drinks as they are served to guests to ensure quality, presentation, and portion consistency.

Conduct regular briefings to review daily specials, staff understanding of the menu items, serving technique or special handling and uniform/grooming/Peninsula image inspection.

Work with Executive Chef to ensure adequate and quality food is readily available.

Work closely with Culinary and F&B Management to develop ideas, continue to evolve, increase revenue, and profit margins.

**General Requirements:**

Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management preferred

Food & Beverage experience in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate appropriate prioritization skills

Strong leadership and motivational skills

Able to work well under pressure
