    Youngquist Brothers LLC is a privately owned well drilling company, proud to be vertically integrated, self-sustaining, and busier than we have ever been. Leaning on over 50 years of experience in the field, Youngquist Brothers well drilling division is the leader in large diameter deep injection well drilling, with the introduction of the E-Rig allowing us to stay at the forefront of drilling technology.

    We are actively seeking Mechanical Engineers with excellent SolidWorks 3-D drawing experience to join our team of engineers in creating and adapting innovative designs of tools, equipment and more for our everyday needs.

    Schedule: Monday Friday full-time.

    Location: Onsite at our headquarters in Fort Myers, Fl.

    Pay: $30/hr

    Insurance benefits after 90 days including medical, dental, vision, life and supplementary (AD&D, STD, etc.), 401K.

    Qualifications/Skillset needed:

    • SolidWorks 3D Modeling (CSW certificates are a plus), scholarly or professional
    • Experience in AutoDesk Inventor a bonus (easily transferable to SolidWorks)
    • Ability to run simulations on large assemblies, including but not limited to; static, open and closed pressure vessels, motion study (i.e. moments and resultant forces)
    • Ability to understand and explain simulation results
    • Ability to model complex designs using SolidWorks features such an weldments, structure systems, configurations, toolbox components (make custom/derived parts), patterns (i.e. linear, circular, chain, sketch-driven)
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize projects in order of their importance
    • Great communication and ability to work alongside other engineers and take direction as needed when refining designs

    Eligibility requirements:

    • You MUST live in Southwest Florida for this position. Relocation assistance is not offered.
    • Valid drivers license, and reliable transportation.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
    • Authorize a background check, verifying no past felonies.
