    This is an exciting opportunity for those eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic organization. As a Manager in Training, you'll report to the Personal Training Department Manager(s) and embark on a journey of leadership development.

    Your Path to Leadership


    In this role, you will:

    • Learn the ins and outs of the Personal Training Manager and/or Personal Training Programming and Development Manager roles.
    • Participate in an educational program designed to prepare you for a future leadership position.

    Key Responsibilities


    As a Manager in Training, you will:

    • Set targets and provide feedback to ensure your team meets business deliverables.
    • Build and establish a client base through fitness evaluations, orientations, and personal training sessions.
    • Generate leads and support trainer development to cultivate a thriving business.
    • Fast track through Equinox's EFTI (Equinox Fitness Training Institute) training program.
    • Complete the MIT (Manager in Training) program successfully.
    • Deliver personalized attention to our members and maintain knowledge of all club services and programs.
    • Instruct members on proper equipment use and exercise techniques.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to every member and potential member.
    • Attend Personal Training-related meetings and maintain regular attendance.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications


    We're looking for candidates who have:

    • A current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in the field (preferred).
    • Multiple continuing education certifications (preferred).
    • CPR/AED certification (required).
    • 1-3 years of Personal Training experience (preferred).
    • Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays.
    • Proven experience in building a business and attracting new clientele.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • A strong sense of honesty and personal integrity.
    • A passion for fitness and knowledge of the industry.
    • Exceptional time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
    • Reliability, professionalism, and a friendly demeanor.

    Pay Transparency: $28.13/hr
