Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Maristone of Franklin. As a Caregiver, you will provide care and clinical-related services consistent with each resident's comprehensive assessment and care plan.- Provide residents' care (i.e., grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care etc.) daily and as needed
- Ambulate and transfer residents utilizing appropriate assistive devices body mechanics Record resident vital signs weights measurements intake output food consumption other information assigned Routinely turn position residents as necessary Preparing each resident's room with necessary items such as blankets pillows medical equipment toiletries Ensure report given regarding his/her residents at beginning shift Respond call lights buzzers promptly courteously considering light emergency until answered Seek assistance charge nurse unsure assignment procedure situation Provide protect promote resident rights dignity privacy confidentiality active participation Offer respect resident choices handle all property respect Observe immediately report unusual occurrences significant changes physical behavioral condition patterns decreased social interaction angry sad behaviors refusals treatment Work Experience Requirements Prior experience giving personal care individuals health setting preferred Effective verbal written English communication skills Highest level of professionalism maintain confidentiality Enthusiasm positive attitude Work independently maintain confidentiality professionalism positive leader Demonstrate practical interpersonal skills sound judgment good decision-making skills Maintain good working relationships residents co-workers Willingness perform additional duties assigned What We Offer Competitive salary
