    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Teacher/Floater at Kiddie Academy. Our Preschool serves children from infants to VPK.

    The ideal candidate must be available to work 9:00am-6:00pm and possess the required 45 hours of child care training, as stipulated by DCF.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and assist children during all activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
    • Develop, plan, and prepare instructional materials for classroom activities, promoting learning and development.
    • Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the classroom environment.
    • Support children with meal times and clean-up duties.
    • Assist with academy and classroom paperwork, including daily notes, accident reports, and attendance records.
    • Help prepare and implement classroom lesson plans, programs, and schedules.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications:

    • Meet all state requirements for this position.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years old.
    • Demonstrate a pleasant demeanor, outgoing personality, and high level of professionalism.
    • Show ability to interact effectively with students of all ages and skill levels, as well as parents, coworkers, and management.

    Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
