- Monitor and engage with our social media audience through our social media management tool (Sprout Social). This includes:
- Responding to questions and comments within the highest level of customer service
- Identifying and tagging potential testimonials and positive experiences from customers
- Flagging any content that could potentially be harmful
- Writing captions and thumbnails for posts provided by the content team
- Schedule social posts (provided by content team) through Sprout Social
- Post Instagram reels in real-time, including adding captions and other interactive elements
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing posts and campaigns
- Tracking social media trends and updates and reporting to the team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with posting and editing reels on Instagram
- Experience with image/video editing software is a bonus
- Familiarity with writing in StoryBrand Framework a plus
- Interested in social media trends
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Currently enrolled in college (or recently graduated)
- 10-15 hours per week
- Must have availability for at least 30 minutes every weekday for social media monitoring and engagement
- Located in Nashville, TN preferred but open to remote work as well
- Hourly rate: $14/hour
- Position can additionally be for course credit

Job DescriptionJob Summary
The Social Media Intern supports the marketing team to implement our social media strategy across our 3 brands to boost brand engagement, drive new leads, and increase revenue. The internship starts in May and goes through August. At the end of August, we will evaluate performance, position fit, and goals to determine an extension through December 2024 or May 2025.
