    Position Summary:
    The Distribution Supply Planner is responsible for assured supply to the distribution centers and Restaurants. The Inventory Fulfillment Planner is responsible for collaborating with the supply chain planner on inbound product flow, monitoring inventory to assure supply, tracking inbound loads, and resolving critical issues related to supply shortages, late inbound loads, forecast issues, etc. The Distribution Supply Planner is also responsible for ensuring appropriate Distribution Center in-stock and restaurant fill rate levels while ensuring productive inventory turns at the most optimal cost to the business. Responsible for collaborating with internal supply chain teams, freight companies, and distribution centers to ensure a seamless flow of inventory across the end-to-end supply chain.

    Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

    • Monitors and plans inventory levels for the distribution center. Ensures optimal inventory levels to meet metrics including customer fill rate, inventory turns, premium freight and order change rates
    • Identify and resolve stock issues to ensure the distribution center has optimal inventory levels, focusing on minimizing shortage or overstock occurrences through analysis of data, review of safety stock levels, and evaluating contingency options such as distribution center to distribution center transfers, line of supply changes, allocation to restaurants, etc.
    • Collaborate with both internal and external key partners for successful execution of promotions and new item launches
    • Coordinates and collaborates with supply chain partners to strategize inventoryfulfillment in support of marketing initiatives
    • Collaborate with distribution centers to optimize costs by smoothing the inbound receiptsacross the week/month, working through capacity concerns, and avoiding costs such as spoilage due to ordering error
    • Track purchase orders from supplier toreceipt at distribution center
    • Resolves product and transportation issues
    • Manage item phase out process to ensure distribution center depletes items according to phase out strategy in order to eliminate product liability
    • Work with distribution center to determine receiving parameters including maximum loads per day, closure days, etc. and ensure planning system is updated accordingly
    • Collaborates with supply chain planners and distribution centers to optimize the flow of inventory frompurchase order placement to receipt at the distribution center
    • Analyzes and interprets multiple sources of data and reports to determine the best course of action or identify new opportunities to meet customer specific requirements. Create ad hoc reporting when needed
    • Work on projects assigned to support existing customers, new business development, or process improvement
    • Other projects or duties as assigned
