- Translate portfolio business objectives into ESC requirements and develop end-to-end operational plans for execution in partnership with the functions of Plan, Source, Make, Deliver (PSMD).
- Identify, prioritize, and lead division specific improvement projects across the supply chain through fundamental engineering and supply chain operations principles.
- Ensure appropriate functional teams and owners are in place for priority projects.
- Partner with division to actively manage product lifecycle and portfolio excellence.
- Spearhead NPI work
- Ensure Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) performance delivers against global division specific objectives and needs
- Ensure long-range capacity plans, supply chain architecture and network will enable growth with acceptable service and inventory levels.
- Determine what is needed to drive service, quality, cost, cash, and reliability across PSMD
- Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Five (5) years of engineering, manufacturing, and/or supply chain experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Bachelors degree or higher in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial and/or Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain
- Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or R&D experience
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as electromechanical hard goods Assembly, Ultrasonic welding, Printed Circuit Board Assembly, injection molding, automated and manual assembly and converting
- Demonstrated experience participating on global cross functional teams
- Knowledge and experience in applying Six Sigma tools and/or Lean principles
- Experience using statistics to analyze and improve processes
- Experience leading capital equipment installation and scale-up projects
- Experience MS project management

The Impact Youll Make in this RoleThe person hired for the position of Business Supply Chain Engineer will drive manufacturing supply chain improvements in the Respirator businesses within the Personal Safety Division, working on Reusable Respirator, Powered and Supplied Air, and Welding businesses.
Projects will include New Product Introductions (NPIs), portfolio optimization, operational cost reduction, capacity building for growth, SOS transfer for lead time and cost improvements, change management projects, and COGS reduction.
As a Business Supply Chain Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

The expected compensation range for this position is $177,961 - $217,508, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
