    SummaryThe A-320 Ground/Simulator Instructor provides instruction utilizing classroom, flight training devices andsimulators to Allegiant Air Pilots for initial, transition, upgrade, and recurrent training in accordance withthe Allegiant approved training program and FAA regulations and policies.

    Minimum RequirementsCombination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as definedby the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.


    Education:
    High School Diploma/GEDYears of Experience: Minimum one (1) year as an instructor/check pilot or as a PIC or SIC in the A-320 series
    *Served for at least one year as an instructor/check pilot or as a PIC or SIC in an airplane of the samegroup.*Successfully complete and retain Allegiant Air's PIC Training/Qualification on the A-320 and requiredrecurrent training and qualification.
    Preferred Requirements*ATP with a A-320 Type rating.

    Job Duties*Facilitate initial, transition, upgrade and recurrent training, including A-320 systems, Allegiant Air policiesand procedures, applicable FAA Regulations and Emergency training.*Prepare students for flight evaluations by providing high quality training and effective feedback.*Conduct training tasks including lesson planning, classroom and simulator set-up, upkeep of currentaviation publications and instructional training materials.*Maintain record of all training activities, participants and results.*Assist department managers as required for special projects.*Assist in course design and development.*Work closely with the A-320 Fleet Training Captain to identify and resolve issues with training.*Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadershipdirection.*Other duties as assigned.

    Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk,hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, andphone.

    May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work variousshifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderatenoise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and lightfluctuations.

    Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for anextended period of time.

    Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
