    Job Description:

    As an Expert AI/ML Applied Scientist on our Generative AI team at SAP, you will play a key role in shaping the future of AI. Our team focuses on creating and refining foundation models using SAP Business Data, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI in business applications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, fine-tune, and integrate foundation models into SAP solutions to streamline cloud transformation journeys.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across different teams at SAP and early adopter customers.
    • Lead junior and senior data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

    Requirements:

    • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in data science, with a proven record of leading projects to success.
    • Expertise in deep learning, large language models, and significant experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams and drive strategic initiatives.
