Advanced Robotics First Assist - Syracuse, United States - Upstate University Hospital

Job Summary:
The Advanced Practice Provider will work fulltime at the SUNY Upstate Downtown Campus, providing robotic first assist coverage. In addition this role provides educational support of learners in the OR. Will assist daily in most complex surgeries including liver resections, pancreatic resections, thoracic surgery and gynecologic oncologic surgical resections.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or Certification) or eligible at time of appointment.
Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or Certification) or eligible at time of appointment.
NYS licensed/registered NP or PA or eligible required.
Nurse Practitioners are required to have their RNFA.
Current National Certification consistent with licensure required.
NPI number and be Medicare enrolled with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (or eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire).
CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years OR experience as first assist.
Previous surgical experience.
Work Days:
Monday-Friday, Days with flexibility
