- Provide direct services to individuals, families, and groups, and make appropriate referrals including mental hygiene/hospital referrals.
- Regularly participate in supervisory conferences and staff meetings.
- Regularly participate on the intake schedule at the center.
- Complete on a regular basis, reports and other assignments as may be required and necessary.
- Must be willing to travel between all LMAMH facilities as needed.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Uphold the state and federal guidelines of the Waiver Program.
- Enter data electronically into clinical recordkeeping and billing systems and record all events involving consumers and patients of LMAMH on a daily basis.

POSITION PURPOSE:
This position requires extensive knowledge and understanding of mental illness and its effects. This requires the ability to apply counseling and psychotherapeutic techniques to persons affected by mental illness and a thorough knowledge of community resources and ability to relate positively to the family of the consumer and community resources in an attempt to assist the consumer maintain or improve their level of function.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
M. A. required from an accredited college or university with degree preferably in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or sociology and one year in a human services setting, preferably in the field of mental health. A licensure in one of the following is preferred: Licensed Graduate Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Counselor.
