Description

We are a growing electrical construction company based out of Vancouver, WA that was just awarded our largest project to date We are looking for a productive and dependable CDL Driver to join our team. This individual is responsible for supporting the companys ongoing operations by offering accurate, timely, and professional delivery of equipment and goods to and from our job sites. The efforts of this individual will help support the teams ability to complete our projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining our high standards for quality.

This position requires the ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, and subcontractors. Qualified candidates must be capable of self-starting and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize and execute directions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate trucks.
• Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
• Pre-inspect truck.
• Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy with prompt submittal and processing.

Qualifications

• Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
• Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day
• Able to pass random drug tests
• Clean driving record
• No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
• Dependability
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CDL Class A
• Certificate from an accredited CDL school
• 21 years or older
• P endorsement preferred
• At least six months of OTR experience
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience working with a specialty subcontractor or Sparky preferred.
