- The Chief of Psychology will work collaboratively with other Division leaders in the department including Psychiatry, Social Work, Nursing and Research.
- Faculty in the Division also contribute to other training programs within the department, including medical education, psychiatry residency, child psychiatry fellowship, social work internship, and nurse practitioner fellowship.
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from APapproved program; NYS license required.
- Experience working in an academic medical center setting in a leadership role; Demonstrated excellent clinical, training/teaching and leadership skills;Demonstrated ability to create and execute a successful clinical specialty program in any area of child or adult mental health; Evidence of experience and expertise in mentoring junior faculty; A track record of promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Candidate should meet criteria for appointment to the College of Medicine faculty at the rank of Associate or Full Professor
- Clinical expertise in the areas of Eating Disorders, Community Mental Health, Geriatrics, Child and Adolescent, Health Psychology, Family Therapy, Parent-Child relationships, ADHD or Psychological Assessment will be given priority.
