- Provide direct care and support to students with healthcare needs in a school setting.
- Assist students with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Collaborate with teachers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create a safe and inclusive environment for students.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student health records and daily activities.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being and safety of students.
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
- Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures and protocols.
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each student and provide individualized care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation and handle multiple tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and privacy.
- Must pass all required background checks and screenings.
