    Summary:

    The Sr.

    Contract Management Analyst is a member of the Epic Reimbursement Contract Build team that manages the health system's payor contract management and variance workflows processes.

    This position is primarily responsible for building, maintaining and modeling payor contacts in the Epic Contract Management platform.

    Under the direction of the Manager Epic Reimbursement Contract Build, the Sr.

    Contract Management Analyst provides ongoing support through troubleshooting, solution design and process improvement to maximize operational effectiveness and contract updates.

    As needed, this position trains/onboards other analysts in reimbursement and variance workflows.

    Requires strong customer service orientation, and knowledge of healthcare workflows. Advanced computer/software skills. Has an in-depth knowledge of medical terminology, claims billing, expected reimbursement, and inpatient/outpatient coding. Ability to work independently on assigned projects. Ability to handle multiple priorities, and lead/facilitate groups.

    Education:
    Prefer a bachelor's degree, but will accept 4 years or more of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

    Experience:
    Minimum of bachelor's degree or 2 years Contract Management application and variance workflow experience required.

    Minimum of 2 or more years hospital billing or hospital contracting experience preferred and experience in reimbursement software or Epic toolkits for Medicare OP/IP updates is a plus.


    Certification:

    Epic certification in Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts is required within 6 months of hire (Professional billing may be required based on organizational need) and Epic certification in Hospital Billing Administration is preferred.

    All certifications required for this position must be current as a condition of continued employment.

    This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
