    Description

    Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Code Compliance Inspector to provide building code compliance inspections in Columbia, SC.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough inspections of commercial, institutional, industrial and residential buildings to verify construction conforms to applicable codes and project plans.
    • Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and coworkers through effective communication.
    • Interact with representatives from the Office of School Facilities (OSF) and the Office of State Engineer (OSE).
    • Publish detailed inspection reports.

    Requirements

    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Ability to pass pre-employment Drug screen.
    • 5 years of experience in Code Inspections.
    • ICC Building, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Inspector Certifications.
    • SCLLR Registration.
    • Self-motivation and ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
    • Capacity to work independently and as part of a project team.
    • Able to develop and nurture client relationships and pursue new project opportunities.
