Responsibilities for the Pediatric NP/PA
Provide primary and specialty healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medication.
Provide preventive care, including vaccinations, screenings, and health education.
Administer medications or minor procedures.
Create a treatment plan or coordinate follow-up medical care.
Educate family members on treatment options.
Minimum Requirements for the Pediatric NP/PA
Certified
Active South Carolina license or ability to obtain.
One year of experience working as an NP/PA with the pediatric population
