Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on food processing equipment, including conveyors, mixers, slicers, fillers, and packaging machinery.

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs promptly to minimize production disruptions.
• Collaborate with production staff to schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and vendors to procure replacement parts and materials as needed.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, prioritizing urgent issues to minimize production losses.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of food processing equipment, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a thorough understanding of industrial machinery and systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as they relate to food processing equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality in all tasks.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, with occasional overtime required.
