This team's work is crucial in ensuring that our products are accessible to our health care customers around the world. We are seeking a dynamic and driven engineering student to join the team for a Quality Engineering internship during Summer 2024.

    As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will gain exposure to CONMED's Quality System, ISO 13485 standards, risk management, test methods, calibration, and design controls. You will develop operations business acumen, and skills such as data collection and analysis, and problem solving through production issues, customer complaint investigations, CAPAs and NCRs.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering student seeking a robust internship within a growing international medical device company with multiple manufacturing and design sites across the U.S.

    Intern Responsibilities:

    Support the Quality and R&D Engineering teams through utilization of engineering problem solving and investigation tools and resources.

    Support the Denver Calibration Program by collaborating with engineers and lab personnel to coordinate asset tracking, documentation, complete technical reports for assets that are out of tolerance.

    Support Corrective and Preventative Actions and learn root cause analysis tools.

    Assist in the creation and maintenance of QMS documentation to meet the company, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

    Work with quality engineering and other team members on risk management documentation (PHA, DFMEA, PFMEA) as needed.

    Support with New Product Development. Work with the cross-functional new product development teams as the Quality representative.

    Support sustaining activities for products currently on the market.

    Support major products such as AirSeal iFS.

    Position Requirements:

    Pursuing completion of a bachelors or master's engineering degree, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering preferred

    Must be available to work onsite out of the Denver Metro, CO facility, Monday – Friday throughout the summer internship program (May 02 – July 26, 2024)

    Expected travel 0-20%

    As a CONMED intern, you will receive competitive compensation and holiday pay.

    Disclosure as required by applicable law, the hourly pay rate range for this position is$19.00 to $31.00. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience,educationand skill level. The hourly pay rate range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
