    Position Summary


    This position is responsible for the international operations trip/flight planning and flight following for aircraft conducting international flight operations according to company and departmental guidelines.

    This is an on-site role, based out of our locations in the US, with the two preferred locations at our office at the Scottsdale, AZ airpark and our office at the West Palm Beach, FL airpark.

    Minimum RequirementsMust have an FAA Aircraft Dispatch License
    Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    Ability to use Microsoft Office systems.
    Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    Knowledge in research and development of operating policies and procedures

    Main ResponsibilitiesResponds to requests of FMR, charter department and flight crew for international trip support
    Ensuring aircraft, crew and passengers have all necessary equipment, documents, visas and any other entry requirements by concerned states/regions
    Flight planning and filing with all applicable ATC agencies, uplink to aircraft, with PICs concurrence
    Collating/reviewing/delivering WX, NOTAM, PIREPs, Enroute and Airport Info to flight crew in accordance with FOM Ops Specs
    Ensures that all airports and routes are operationally suitable and meet company requirements
    Setting up ground handling, in accordance with client preference, appropriate facilities (weight restrictions, parking, aircraft servicing, hangarage, etc.), and economical and efficient ground handling
    Obtaining all overflight/landing permits, and slots, in accordance with all regulations in an expeditious and economic manner
    Flight following/monitoring/timely relay of movement messages
    Stays current on all applicable NOTAMs, FARs, AIPs, ICAO Recommended Practices and Procedures and the regulations of each State of operations
    Maintains knowledge of aeronautical navigation systems, charts, airspace, air traffic control, aircraft performance, AFM, MEL, aeronautical communications, and publications and maintains a current operations library
    Coordinate trips with all relevant authorities, i.e. customs, immigrations, airport and civil/military authorities
    Ensuring fuel is being arranged and fuel releases relayed in a timely manner
    Preparing/disseminating complete flight briefings for flight crew
    Participates in the Safety Management System
    Advises Senior International Planner, ops/flight control manager, charter department, flight crew of international flight operations restrictions
    Assists in maintaining international compliance with fleet updates and monthly reports to EASA, Eurocontrol, NavCanada, SENEAM and all other concerned foreign agencies
    Authority to exercise Operational Control/Flight Control of Company flight operations (Operational Control Manager).
    Assumes any additional duties delegated by the Senior Dispatcher/Director of Operations
    Any other duties that may be assigned.
    Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
