    Description

    Our client a leading Commercial general contractor based in Dallas, TX are looking to grow their team with a Preconstruction Manager. The business focus on Healthcare, Retail, Education, Hospitality, Restaurants, Education both ground up and interiors with projects ranging from 3M - 100M in value.

    The Preconstruction Manager will be responsible for estimating and determining budgets, conceptual pricing, and overall costs of new and existing construction projects working in a team of 8.

    Responsibilities:

    • Verify material quantities
    • Relationship maintenance with client and vendor
    • Prepare detailed cost estimates and conceptual estimates for new projects
    • Develop competitive bids for new work
    • Subcontractor vetting
    • Provide cost reduction ideas
    • Build relationships with contractors and assess market conditions

    Qualifications:

    • B.A. or Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of estimating experience on multi-discipline projects
    • Proficient use of estimating software

    Compensation:

    $100,000 - $140,000 base salary

    • Up to 20% bonus
    • Auto Allowance - $400/ $600 per month
    • cell phone allowance - $100 per month
