    Laborer

    Job Description:

    Do you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a skilled craft team? We are looking for a Laborer to assist skilled workers in their daily tasks without constant supervision. Take a look at the responsibilities and qualifications below:

    • - Measure distances from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretch tight lines.
    • - Bolt, nail, align, and block under forms.
    • - Level the earth to precise specifications using a pick and shovel.
    • - Mix concrete with a portable mixer.
    • - Smooth and finish newly poured cement or concrete using a float, trowel, or screed.
    • - Apply paints or compounds for surface protection.
    • - Spray materials for cleaning, coating, or sealing surfaces.
    • - Grind, sand, or polish surfaces such as concrete or steel using appropriate tools.
    • - Perform a variety of manual tasks such as demolishing buildings, sawing lumber, and attaching insulating materials.
    • - Respond to hazardous situations effectively.
    • - Regular attendance required.
    • - Significant travel may be involved.
    • - Perform other necessary duties.

    Working Conditions and Requirements:

    Working conditions may vary from office settings to busy traffic areas and undeveloped properties. Exposure to dirt, dust, grease, and adverse weather is common. The role demands physical effort such as lifting up to fifty pounds, working at heights, using all required safety equipment, and standing for extended periods.
