    $80,000-$115,000Financial Reporting Manager Job DescriptionThe Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for the review and standardization of processes and policies that impact the execution of all financial reporting, general accounting, statutory reporting, financial audits, and tax compliance of health plans. This position is responsible for the coordination, oversight and quality of financial statement preparation, statutory reporting, management reporting and data for various accounting purposes and audits. The Financial Reporting Manager works closely with the Director of Financial Reporting and accounting staff to coordinate delivery of Financial Reporting Services, as well as functioning as the primary financial advisor and finance advocate for the areas supported. This position leads automation optimization for the financial integration functions of the health plan.

    What youll do as the Financial Reporting Manager:
    Serve as the Lead Finance professional for all departments and provide routine reporting that communicates current results of operations to the management teamManage the monthly accounting functions including the preparation of the financial statements, product line financial statements, and reporting packages on statutory and GAAP basis of accountingLead the quarterly and annual statutory statements preparation process and any reporting to CMS including quality reviewEnsure that the statements are complete and ready for the Director of Finance and filed on timeOversee the submission of files, preparation of work papers to external audit and tax advisors and ensure completion of requested informationReview monthly conversion from statutory accounting principles to generally accepted accounting principle for the consolidate audit of our parent companySupport an effective internal control environment, assist with the service organization control report audits as necessary, and oversee evaluation of controls of new processesEnsure the maintenance of, and/or development of, procedures and processes to handle the day-to-day, monthly, quarterly and annual Finance Reporting team dutiesCoordinate efforts of financial team in providing support for system conversions and upgradesWhat youll bring to the Financial Reporting Manager role:Bachelors degree in accounting/finance, healthcare administration, or healthcare related field5+ years of relevant experience in assigned functionsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required within 18 months of hireStrong knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point productsAbility to perform basic operations on a computer within the Windows operating systemAbility to read, write, speak, and apply mathematical concepts and sounds reasoningExcellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to multi-taskAbility to work effectively in a team environment, coordinating work flow with other team members and ensuring a productive and efficient environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
