    Job Description

    Project Engineer

    Job Summary:

    This role involves coordinating between production, quality, purchasing, and design engineering for configuration management, design updates, and root cause investigations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate Engineering Change Request processing through daily stand-up meetings with engineers
    • Remove barriers, escalate issues, and coordinate support
    • Provide project teams with weekly updates on resolved issues, outstanding issues, and associated risks
    • Review metrics with management monthly, recommend improvements
    • Analyze reasons for engineering changes, identify trends, and suggest corrective actions
    • Approve deviation requests, ensure compliance, and release Engineering Change Notifications
    • Write test plans, conduct tests, document results, and train quality personnel
    • Create Engineering Change Proposals for design enhancements and obsolescence resolutions
    • Plan, monitor, and adjust schedules/resources for new designs to meet customer needs
    • Develop SolidWorks 3D models and 2D drawings for products
    • Conduct root cause investigations for non-compliances

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Applied Science
    • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience
    • At least 4 years in project management and team leadership
    • 2 years with SolidWorks and AutoCAD software
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite and MS Project
