Director, Enterprise Strategy - Chicago, United States - The Barton Partnership

We're working with a client in the CPG / Food sector to place a Director of Enterprise Strategy. This client will be highly active in the global market over the next five years and beyond. You will be a visionary leader within the company, charged with defining and developing strategic priorities and programs across the business.

Reporting directly to the VP of Enterprise Strategy, this role will have high visibility to divisional leaders and the C-Suite. The role is based in Chicago, IL and will have competitive compensation.

How you will contribute:

• Lead the development of long-term visions for key strategic focus areas, develop winning strategies and define clear roadmaps to bring these to life, in partnership with senior leaders across the Enterprise

• Ensure that strategies for key Enterprise priorities are translated into compelling BU business plans

• Lead strategic analysis and deep dives to understand internal/external environment changes, and to develop recommendations on specific ad-hoc strategic questions

• Partner with Communications and Investor Relations teams to drive compelling internal and external communication of our Enterprise Strategy

• Lead the preparation of various Executive level strategic documents

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Vision 2030 and current business plans are executed smoothly

• Update company strategy to reflect beyond Vision 2030

• Marketing strategy to grow individual brands

• Sales and supply chain strategy

Experiences that will support your success:

• Bachelors degree, MBA preferred

• years experience in Consulting and/or Strategy roles

• CPG industry expertise required with a preference in fast moving consumer goods

• Experience working on international, multicultural projects
