We are proud to offer a working environment equally as exquisite and are currently seeking candidates to fill full-time and part-time positions at all four of our locations (Short Pump, Midlothian, Glen Allen and Richmond). Positions at Scents of Serenity are highly sought after as we are currently reserving massage therapy appointments approximately 3-4 weeks in advance. This is an exciting opportunity for a massage therapist who is seeking to advance their massage therapy career with an expanding, locally owned business.

    We are growing Scents of Serenity is seeking full-time and part-time Certified Massage Therapists for all 4 of our locations. We are looking for Massage Therapists who are truly passionate about holistic health, healing therapies and bodywork, and the caring for others. The perfect candidate will share our belief in the healing and transformative power of touch and be a highly-motivated individual who is extremely compassionate.

    As a Certified Massage Therapist at Scents of Serenity Organic Spa, you will be responsible for providing the highest quality therapies including:

    • Swedish Massage
    • Deep Tissue Massage
    • Hot Stone Massage
    • Prenatal Massage
    • Reflexology
    • Body Treatments

    Extensive training is provided for all specialty services such as our flower essence massage, bamboo massage, herbal compress massage, signature massage, body scrubs and wraps, pregnancy massage, hot stone massage, etc.

    Desired Qualification

    • Must be willing to work evenings and at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
    • 1 year experienced strongly preferred but not required
    • Strong guest service orientation
    • Professional image
    • Team player, enjoys team environment and interaction with co-workers
    • Good organizational skills and follow through
    • Able to multi-task and improvise on the spur of the moment

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Employer contribute health insurance (medical, dental, vision)
    • Highly competitive pay - commission for massage services range from $35-$50+ per hour (based on full-time employment and dependent upon type of service + massage enhancements)
