    There is an emphasis on supporting the company's products and processes related to system/component design, development, manufacturing and testing.


    Responsibilities:


    Applies engineering and scientific principles in such technical fields as mechanics, electronics, flight technology, structures, chemistry, metallurgy, mathematics, and computer science.

    Responsible for creating product work instructions and being the technical lead for production hardware.

    May conduct or participate in portions of studies, investigations or analyses involving reliability, predictability, value engineering; or quality assurance problems including hardware and software projects.

    Responsible for troubleshooting, dispositioning non-conforming hardware, and providing root cause and corrective action.
    Continuously strives to improve processes & techniques.
    Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other related documents.
    Required SkillsCritical CompetenciesSolid communication skills, both written and verbal, across functional areas.

    Possesses advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skillsDrives for results to establish Root Cause & Positive Corrective ActionsExperience with CAD software for 3D models and 2D drawings (SolidWorks preferred)Quantitative analysis skills using Excel and other software toolsDrives for results, action oriented Ability to work in a team environment as well as independentlyRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field required.
