Our Sales team manages the full sales cycle, helping prospects and existing customers leverage Mixpanel to analyze, measure, and improve their customer experience. About The Role The Region Vice President of North America Sales will drive the next chapter of growth and profitability at Mixpanel. As our Region VP of North America Sales, you will be tasked with inspiring and leading teams that span across Account Management and New Business Sales executing our Product Led Sales strategy to drive revenue growth and increase retention while providing a word-class pre/post-sales experience for SMB, MM and Enterprise customers. You will drive operational excellence across the organization and uplevel the team's efficiency, delivering measurable results. You will contribute meaningfully to Mixpanel's strategy and thoughtfully allocate resources as a major owner of the company's success. Responsibilities
    • Has experience leading multiple teams selling a complex technical SaaS product
    • Has a demonstrated track record of increasing revenue year-over-year and improving sales efficiency and other critical sales metrics
    • Has a broad network with high-growth technology customers and is able to get in the weeds and add value in obtaining business and solving for customer needs
    • Has a track record of success leading, coaching and performance managing leaders and individual contributors with measurable results across North America
    • Has experience building an accurate, predictable forecast, territory planning, customer segmentation - and consistently meeting sales targets
    • Drive pipeline building and sales execution across all the customer journey
    • Develop and manage a strategic account program
    • Demonstrates a deep "Customer First" philosophy, focused on delivering value to the customer over the long-term
    • Able to get into the details and deep dive into problems, working with teams hand-in-hand to execute and iterate to get to solutions
    • Collaborate well with cross-functional leaders across Product, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Partnerships
    We're Looking For Someone Who Has
    • 10+ years of total work experience in Sales and Account Management or other related roles
    • 7+ years of operating experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment at a B2B SaaS startup/scaleup
    • 5+ years as a VP of Sales or similar senior sales role
    • Have sold products into tech companies and exhibits deep technical acumen with a strong passion for digital products, tech and innovation
    • Experience with large Enterprise and Velocity sales
    • Experience selling in North America and internationally with a good cultural understanding and adaptability
    • Product Led Sales and SaaS Experience
    • Familiarity with data ecosystem and has passion of solving problems with data
    • Highly motivated, innate intellectual curiosity, and a strong desire to drive impact
    • Have experience in and knowledge of the data & analytics space and ecosystem
    • Experience at a high-growth tech company in a highly competitive market
    • Has a passion for solving problems and running the business with data & analytics
    Compensation The total target compensation (TTC) for this full-time position is $348,591 - $522,887 across the United States. This amount includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. This position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. You can view our benefits offerings here. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
