Talento Search Group has an opening for a Design Engineer in the Reno, Nevada area.
This is a direct-hire position and the pay range is about $65,000-90,000 per year, depending on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Review design briefs, specifications, and other data to produce equipment and component designs
Create Bills of Materials
Use SolidWorks software to produce designs
Create fabrication specifications
Work with fabrication for sample models
Design tools and fixtures required to produce products
Use quality check tools and gauges
Meet with project members to review designs
Ensure products adhere to standards
Modify designs
Experience Needed:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field is preferred
At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design
Proficiency in SolidWorks software, drafting, Microsoft Office, and ERP platforms
Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate projects
