    The Role:


    We are looking for a senior software engineer who can help transform our engineering processes into digital ecosystems for our Space Superiority business area.

    The ideal candidate should have strong technical leadership skills and experience in leading and implementing digital architectures. They should be able to collaborate with senior executives, chief engineers, and chief systems/software engineers to deliver solutions.

    The engineer will work with large-scale web technologies, distributed computation and storage frameworks, and cutting-edge analytics on virtualized and cloud-computing platforms.


    Responsibilities:
    Participate in implementing DevSecOps methodologies in an Agile software development environment
    Analyze, design, and develop release automation for operations and applications
    Define best practices, guidelines, and standards for short- and long-term objectives
    Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines
    Create and monitor health checks for services
    Deploy updates and fixes and provide technical support
    Investigate and resolve technical issues
    Build tools for automation and error reduction
    Implement DevOps pipelines across multiple security domains
    Collaborate with a diverse multi-site geographical team
    Travel to customer sites, as required


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with at least 10 years of related experience in a STEM function
    Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment strategies
    Troubleshooting incidents in a production system
    Experience with Kubernetes, preferably for cloud-based container orchestration
    Managing CI/CD servers and agents in Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar applications
    Experience with Artifactory, Nexus, or similar applications
    Experience in at least one scripting language
    Experience in managing IT infrastructure as a DevOps enabler
    Experience in scaled Agile frameworks/methodologies
    Experience in managing cross-functional technical teams
    Experience with RHEL and/or CentOS system and/or network administration
    Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GovCloud
    Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
    Experience with standard automated deployment tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.)
    Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance


    Preferred Additional Skills:
    Experience deploying/implementing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and automated design/test principles
    Experience in standardizing and forecasting engineering tools into common frameworks and architectures
    Ability to develop business Segment-level digital engineering policies and procedures
    Familiarity with managing Jira, Mattermost, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.
    Experience with Platform One and/or DI2E

    In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $132,500 - $245,500.
