- Capable of lifting and assisting with weights up to 30 lbs and prolonged standing.
- Ensure continuity of care post-treatment by educating individuals on home exercises and recommending follow-up services.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient data and uphold a safe working environment.
- Adhere to legal and certification standards, staying informed on regulations and advising management accordingly.
- Hold a master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Valid licensure in Michigan.
- Must undergo fingerprinting, TB testing, background checks, and hold infant/child CPR and First Aid certifications.

SUMMARY:
ABA Pathways is seeking a speech language pathologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with communication and swallowing disorders. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals, including those with autism spectrum disorder or neurological conditions. The SLP will utilize alternative communication systems to support patients' needs, working closely with them to enhance their quality of life and independence.
POSITION EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This PRN position is temporary (3-4 months) with operational hours typically from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. Flexible scheduling options are available, with a preference for a four or five-day work week. Specific hours and shifts will be confirmed upon hiring, commencing in early September 2024.
